About Yale University?

Yale University is a New Haven, Connecticut-based private Ivy League research university. It is the third-oldest institution of higher education in the United States, having been founded in 1701 and being one of the nine Colonial Colleges chartered before the American Revolution. Saybrook Colony clergy founded it to train Congregational ministers. In 1716, it relocated to New Haven and was soon renamed Yale College in honor of a gift from British East India Company governor Elihu Yale.

13. Harvey Williams Cushing

Harvey Williams Cushing was a neurosurgeon, pathologist, writer, and draftsman from the United States. He was the first exclusive neurosurgeon and the first to describe Cushing’s disease. 14. Warren Sturgis McCulloch

Warren Sturgis McCulloch was an American neurophysiologist and cybernetician who was well-known for his contributions to the field of brain theory and the cybernetics movement. 15. John Kenneth Ousterhout

Electric Cloud, Inc. chairman John Kenneth Ousterhout is a professor of computer science at Stanford University and the University of California.
