Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy Scholarship are given out on an individual basis, with preference going to people whose sport is part of the British University and Colleges Sports program, who compete in regional or national competitions, and who have the ability to perform at an elite or international level.
For a sport scholarship to be granted:
- Perform at a national, regional or international level in your chosen sport (Athlete Scholarship).
- You must be committed to achieving or possess a Level 1 or Level 2 official match certification or equivalent your preferred game (Match Official Scholarship)
- You must be committed to achieving or possess a Level 1/Level 2 coaching certification in the sport you are interested in (Coach Scholarship)
- Be a WLV Sport Activator on the Let’s Move Wolves Programme (Leadership Scholarship)
- You must be enrolled in a postgraduate or undergraduate course at the University of Wolverhampton
Although the Panel maintains the right to make changes and/or amendments at any time, the Scholarship Scheme is reviewed each year. Additionally, the Panel has the ability to revoke a scholarship offer at any moment.
