However, the OAU management has not uploaded the 2023/2024 admission list to the University portal.

That is to say, the only way that candidates will confirm their Obafemi Awolowo University admission status is by checking the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) website.

1. Firstly, go to the JAMB E-Facility portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
2. Secondly, login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Thirdly, scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.
5. Lastly, Select ‘Check Admission Status to access your OAU admission status.

Candidates That Have Confirmed Their OAU Admission Status Should

1. Simply Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) admission.
2. Print Your JAMB UTME And DE Admission Letter Here For 2023/2024 when you are done with accepting your Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) admission.

4. Lastly, Candidates that got admitted into departments that they did not choose. During application can simply apply for a change of course.

How to Check OAU Admission Status At the University Admission Portal

When the University management finally uploads the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) to the school portal. Candidates will have to follow the procedure below, in other to check.

1. Firstly, visit the official OAU admission status-checking portal at https://eportal.oauife.edu.ng/admissions.php.
2. Secondly, enter your admission year in the required column.
3. Thirdly, supply your JAMB registration number where required.
4. Lastly, select the ‘Submit’ button to access your OAU admission status.

There are two scenarios, first, you might see ‘CONGRATULATIONS…, accept/Reject your admission and wait for further instruction.’ On the other hand, you might see ‘Admission in progress. This means you should be patient.

The status will change in a few days/weeks. Just check back after some time.
